 Not just your regular cup of Joe!

I am a prairie girl born and raised, now living in the vast mountainous beauty of BC and still the prairie’s luminous sunsets and racy thunderstorms that both scare you deeply and restore your inner inspirations, stay vivid in my mind.  Yes you can watch your dog run away for miles, yes you can build a two story snow-fort in your backyard in the pitch white snow-blizzard day and yes you can get caught in the middle of a small tornado-like dust storm that will redirect your path momentarily, such is life on the flatlands and I wouldn't of had it any other way growing up. 

Besides photography, horseback riding is another big chapter in my life.  I’ve been riding since I was little but only started to become serious about competing in the last 4 years.   My young 4 year old mare keeps me active and she also believes that it's quite healthy to terrify me at least once or twice a month, basically to keep me on the up and up!  She’s quite pleased with herself…..  Horses are actually why I started photography, I used to take random candid pictures throughout my years in 4-H of all of us goofing off in the ring or on the trail and started to develop an eye for the shot.  I then began broadening my practice to anything else that peaked my interest. 

Photography is that expressing art form that speaks from the individual of their idea on beauty of raw and defined emotions milked into a pattern on paper.  Each photo I deliver will hopefully portray the same yet different reaction, feel and vision to you as it does to me.  It’s definitely taken me awhile to put the pieces together to build a website for all to visit and enjoy, tons of verbal abuse from close friends to shift my a** in gear to start displaying my work and take enjoyment in the talent that I have for this game.
